Edith Jiwul Augustine is a community development expert and advocate for girls’ and women’s rights, focusing on education, menstrual health, and policy engagement. As the convener of Wonderwoman Nigeria, she has led initiatives like Plastics for Pads and the Little Sister Project to promote menstrual hygiene, sustainability, and mentorship for young girls. As a UN Women Nigeria delegate, she has contributed to policy formulation and has led teams in different NGOs to develop and implement sustainable community solutions. Through strategic partnerships, she has expanded her impact while securing funding from PSI Nigeria, including African Union Civic Tech Fund for a civic tech innovations addressing teacher shortages in rural areas in Nigeria.
