Born in Morocco and raised in Italy, Ibtissame Baitit holds a bachelor’s degree in Intercultural Mediation and Linguistic Communication from the University of Milan and a master’s in International Relations from the University of Bologna. Ibtissame gained some experience in economic research, she volunteers as a social media manager for Apigeo - a youth association operating in sustainability - and she is part of Organizzazione Alba Nascente - an organization advocating for Muslim professionals, students, and workers in Italy. Ibtissame aims at working to empower her community and the Global South by leveraging her expertise to bring about positive change.
