Jade Sainte-Rose is a passionate feminist, researcher, and human rights defender committed to empowering and building the capacity of young activists. With more than 5 years of experience advocating for women's rights, climate justice, and inclusive development, she has worked across diverse regions, including areas facing shrinking civic spaces and conflict. Currently based in Cambodia, Jade serves as a Research and Campaign Manager at Klahaan (meaning 'Brave' in Khmer) and as an Advocacy Consultant for the Cambodian League for the Promotion and Defense of Human Rights (LICADHO). In these roles, she supports local women human rights defenders and amplifies the voices of diverse communities and rights-holders. Jade is fluent in three languages and holds an undergraduate degree in Politics and International Relations, and two Master’s degrees in Development and International Law from the University of Amsterdam and the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) of the University of London.
