This series features short (20-30 minutes max) episodes, where young professionals candidly share real experiences and practical advice on pressing issues in international affairs and peace and security.

In this third episode, we feature the incredible Larissa Truchan, accepted to Harvard Law School's Junior Deferral Program to study international human rights law. She is a human rights advocate, intersectional feminist, and peace activist who has spent her gap years engaging in human rights work across different geopolitical regions. βš–οΈπŸ‘©πŸ»β€βš–οΈ

Larissa's journey includes studying international humanitarian law in Jordan, working on public interest litigation for refugees in Kenya, participating in the UN General Assembly in New York, influencing legislation on sexual violence in Japan, and advocating for pro-democracy activists in Thailand.

She also works part-time as an LSAT Instructor and Premium Tutor at Blueprint Test Prep, creating personalized study plans and lessons. In her free time, she documents her postgrad journey through social media.
