Research and Knowledge Production is our first work pillar. At YTN, we believe that knowledge is a powerful tool that can be transformative and influential. As such, knowledge decolonization and dissemination play a crucial role in decolonizing peace and security. We conduct studies, collect data, and analyze trends related to youth in peace, security, and decolonization efforts. Through our Research team, we will be re-writing the narrative to ensure knowledge production that has a focus on global south literature and experts to promote more inclusive and diverse perspectives in global discourse. Overall, the Research team, through this pillar, plays a vital role in informing YTN's knowledge production efforts, shaping its programming, and contributing to the broader discourse on youth empowerment, decolonization, and peacebuilding.
