Ruth Artiles Valero is a trilingual political scientist from the Canary Islands with a postgraduate education in International Relations, Politics, and Conflict Resolution. Her expertise in contemporary security challenges and the workings of International and EU institutions was shaped by her experiences at INTERPOL, The Spanish Embassy in London, and the European Commission.

Driven by a passion for innovative peace-building, Ruth specializes in hybrid, localized, and gendered approaches, focusing on the cultural and creative sectors. She has worked with the EU-funded Cultural Relations Platforms and published papers on the topic. Ruth is also trained in direct-action activism and has field experience in conflict zones. She is currently based between Brussels and Tunis.
